UNI-VIS Applications:

Programming and Data Analysis

With the OSPREY and HAWK software modules running on Windows NT, programming is easy and convenient.
To judge the performance capabilities of our measuring machines, it is not enough to look at their hardware specifications alone.

On the software side, the UNI-VIS series harnesses all the advanced capabilities of the new Windows NT generation. The CAD data interface allows the design geometry of components to be read in. All parameters and geometries to be measured can be generated by mouse click, just as in CAD. The big advantage: once the dimensions to be taken have been marked, the machine's measurement cycle is programmed automatically.

This does away with the complicated, time-consuming programming chores of the past. With the same ease, the analysis of measured data is accomplished. Measurement results are available in graphical and tabulated forms and can be called up with a mouse click. The software package includes best-fit algorithms, smoothing functions, and the forwarding of corrective data to the machine tool and/or CAD/CAM station via network.
